These video clips show the LightfootTM fitted with DymaxTM 14" tree shear, felling, and bunching large diameter pine on a shaded fuel break project in New Mexico. The trees were dumped into piles for later burning.
The LightfootTM can handle trees up to 80' tall and 14" on the stump. The shear has an accumulator, which allows multiple smaller diameter trees to be sheared and bunched before the "turn" is released.

These video clips show the LightfootTM fitted with DymaxTM 14" tree shear, felling, and bunching small diameter oak trees on the Finley National Wildlife Refuge near Corvallis, Oregon.
The small diameter oaks were removed from the understory of several large savanna oaks, to reduce ladder fuels and allow for under burning in the future. The trees were dumped into piles for later burning.
The shear has an accumulator, which allows multiple smaller diameter trees to be sheared and bunched before the "turn" is released. The LightfootTM can shear trees within two inches of ground level, thereby allowing for subsequent "rough mowing" with a farm tractor, in the future.
