Project:  Farmer Appraisal
Client:  Dan Farmer
Date:  January – April 2008
Services Provided: IRM was hired by the Farmer family, of Philomath, Oregon, to conduct an appraisal of their 195-acres of timberland.  After the property was mapped and delineated into stands of similar timber types, variable radius non-permanent plots were installed to take measurements on the standing timber.  Because the appraisal was supposed to assess the value of the forest a year prior to the actual cruise, the diameters and heights of the trees were discounted one year through regressions by species and size.  The results were utilized in setting up a family trust as well as guiding future management actions.

Project:  Beaver Creek Grade Cruise
Client:     Oregon State Parks and Recreation
Dates:  March – May 2007
